New information for authors for the virtual conference

  1. All camera-ready papers are submitted and processed by IEEE for archiving.
  2. All authors should, by May 1, 2020 Upload (i) a video presentation and (ii) a poster PDF
    • (i) Video – All accepted papers are required to prepare a 5-10 minute video presentation. We recommend that you do a slide presentation and record yourself speaking over the presentation (consider using software Camtasia, which has free trials). If possible, please encode your video in the MP4 format. Your submitted videos will be uploaded to youtube and a private link will be provided during the conference. Please name your video as follows and upload to the link below: paper_id.mp4 (so, paper ID 31, would be paper_31.mp4)
    • (ii) Poster - All accepted papers must also prepare a single-page poster. We recommend you use an aspect ratio suitable for viewing on a computer screen (e.g., the same size as a PPT slide). Please convert your poster to a PDF and name it as follows. Upload to your poster to the link below: paper_id.pdf (so, paper ID 31, would be paper_31.pdf)

We are using a dropbox file request to gather your video and poster PDF files.

Policies

Review Process: By submitting a paper to CRV, the authors agree to the review process and understand that papers are processed by the Toronto system to match each manuscript to the best possible chairs and reviewers.

Single-Blind Review: CRV reviewing is single-blind, in that authors do not know the names of the reviewers of their papers, but the reviewers do know the names of the authors.

Plagiarism : Plagiarism consists of appropriating the words or results of another, without credit. Generally, reviewers can recognize plagiarism when they see it; it is unlikely that a reviewer will be uncertain whether plagiarism has occurred. CRV 2020's policy on plagiarism is to refer suspected cases to the IEEE Intellectual Property office, which has an established mechanism for dealing with plagiarism and wide powers of excluding offending authors from future conferences and from IEEE journals. You can find information on this office, their procedures, and their definitions of five levels of plagiarism at this link. We will be actively checking for plagiarism.

Author Registration: Before submitting to CRV 2020, please ensure that least one author of each accepted paper is committed to registering and (virtually) attending CRV 2020 to present the work.
